In the early 1990s, Vince Collins started his career in a recording studio as a receptionist, with the goal of getting his dream job, working as a studio engineer. Opportunities came one after another, and before long, he was engineering recording sessions, TV shoots, and live stadium events. He spent the next two decades working in multiple facets of production and music for houses of worship. This proved to be an incredible training ground, where he learned to produce impactful, distraction-free events.
After taking his passion for excellence on tour around the globe for five years as a Technical Director, it became apparent to Vince that there was room for improvement in event production. What was missing? Innovative uses of technology, standardized processes, comprehensive event management, and a white-glove, “yes we can” approach. He began forming the team that it would take to realize the vision, and in 2011 Square AV was launched from a two-car garage in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Today, we’re headquartered in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, with a nationwide roster of event technicians, and a warehouse full of awesome that we use to transform lackluster events into memorable occasions.
